Heather has been with Debian since February
of this year and quickly noticed the collaborative and inclusive atmosphere in Debian’s open office space. Heather dove head first into this work style. As a result, she won our monthly service award just two months after her first day for her exceptional attitude and willingness to help clients and co-workers.
In her free time, Heather loves painting in a style she describes as “impressionist landscapes, or sometimes abstract flowers”. As far as other hobbies go, Heather just participated in a Spartan Race which she describes as more of a love-hate relationship than her painting.
Heather always has a book in her hand and is currently reading Artemis, by Andy Weir after she really enjoyed The Martian. Heather gives a big shout out to her two daughters who keep her young and make her feel old at the same time!
