Minh Truong, our IT Support Analyst in Sydney, is not just your average computer whiz. He’s a basketball enthusiast, having started playing in grade 4 and still maintaining that passion, even with the interruption caused by the Covid pandemic. Beyond the tech world, Minh unwinds by diving into online games like League of Legends and Overwatch, grooving to any catchy tunes, and building a movie collection that fills up his personal external hard drive. His ultimate goal is heartwarming – sponsoring his four-member family to Canada for precious quality time together.
Minh cherishes his father for the opportunity to study abroad in 2016 and the unshakeable support from his close-knit family. Even though he grew up in the bustling city of Sai Gon, Minh’s heart longs for the calm and tranquility found in cities like Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto. His love for home-cooked meals revolves around the simplicity of rice, with fried chicken topping the list of his favorite dishes.
At work, Minh faces challenges head-on, tackling a variety of technical issues users throw his way. Despite the hurdles, his favorite part of the job is taking action and troubleshooting, whether it’s a virtual or hands-on fix. As a child in Vietnam, he dreamt of soaring the skies as a pilot, inspired by the daily spectacle of aircraft near his home. Now, Minh lives by the motivating mantra, “Never Give Up Without a Fight,” pushing himself to improve each day.
