Microsoft increases prices for Microsoft 365 and Office 365 (effective March 1, 2022)
Price Update – Impacted SKUs – Effective March 1, 2022
Here is some additional info on the price increases and purchasing option changes for Microsoft 365 Licensing that will take effect March 1, 2022.
We have put together an estimate of the new prices based off of the US dollar prices that have been made public by Microsoft. Official Canadian pricing with the actual prices in Canadian dollars will be communicated to you as soon as Microsoft releases them.
For reference, the chart on the right shows the estimated Canadian pricing and the official USD pricing below. These increases will apply globally with local market adjustments for certain regions.
In addition the pricing changes, Microsoft has also announced that they will be enforcing the annual licensing terms and eliminating the ability for early cancellation and proration of charges. Details of how this will work have not been made publicly available and we will provide additional information as soon as we receive an update.

How will this price change impact existing customers?
Existing customers are not impacted until their next renewal on or after March 1, 2022

Microsoft delivered value over the past 10 years and is committed to continue innovation going forward. Since 2011, Microsoft has added 25 applications and released over 1400 new capabilities to Office 365 and Microsoft 365.
